Description [src]

Sets the default FFTW flag (FFTW_ESTIMATE, FFTW_MEASURE, FFTW_PATIENT, FFTW_EXHAUSTIVE) to be used when building plans. The variable timeout sets the maximum time spent on planners. The argument flag_str is a string representation of the flag:

  • “estimate”: FFTW_ESTIMATE
  • “measure”: FFTW_MEASURE
  • “patient”: FFTW_PATIENT
  • “exhaustive”: FFTW_EXHAUSTIVE

This function is case insensitive.

Parameters

flag_str

Type: const gchar*

A FFTW library flag.

The data is owned by the caller of the function.
The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.
timeout

Type: const gdouble

Planner time out in seconds.

error

Type: GError **

The return location for a recoverable error.

The argument can be NULL.
If the return location is not NULL, then you must initialize it to a NULL GError*.
The argument will be left initialized to NULL by the function if there are no errors.
In case of error, the argument will be set to a newly allocated GError; the caller will take ownership of the data, and be responsible for freeing it.
