Description [src]

Creates an object of type TypeName with the properties in params. For TypeName[name], the named instance is returned if ser has one; giving params as well then aborts. With #NCM_SERIALIZE_OPT_AUTOSAVE_SER a new named object is added to the named instances. Aborts if TypeName is not a registered type.

Parameters

obj_name

Type: const gchar*

TypeName or TypeName[name].

The data is owned by the caller of the method.

The value is a NUL terminated UTF-8 string.

params

Type: GVariant

A GVariant of type a{sv} with the properties.

The argument can be NULL.

The data is owned by the caller of the method.

Return value

Type: GObject

The object.

The caller of the method takes ownership of the returned data, and is responsible for freeing it.
