Method

NumCosmoXcorKernelset_peak_epsilon

Declaration [src]

void
nc_xcor_kernel_set_peak_epsilon (
  NcXcorKernel* xclk,
  gdouble peak_epsilon
)

Description [src]

Sets the peak-relative floor of the adaptive refinement. Below this fraction of the fitted function’s own peak the refinement stops regardless of the relative tolerance, so a kernel is not resolved to a precision its amplitude cannot carry.

Values below NC_XCOR_KERNEL_MIN_USEFUL_PEAK_EPSILON are accepted but warned about: the floor enters the $C_\ell$ integrand squared, so they ask for accuracy the outer integral cannot carry and pay for it in spline knots. See NcXcorKernel:peak-epsilon.

Parameters

peak_epsilon

Type: gdouble

The refinement floor, as a fraction of the peak (must be > 0).
